The Inauguration of tha New Philippine President

Former Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte has been Inaugurated as the 16th President of the Fifth Republic. It was held in the Rizal Hall at Malacañan Palace last Thursday, June 30, 2016.

IMO it’s one of the most anticipated Inauguration for the last 6 years. Also the wife of former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo has been Inaugurated as the Vice President of the Republic.

For me, I think the change is near ’cause even before Duterte was Inaugurated, His city, Davao has been consistent for being one of the safest cities here in the Philippines. Because he fights corruption, criminality, drugs which are the top problems here in our country. Also the poor people in the slums which the Former President Benigno Aquino III had solved during his presidency.

In Duterte’s Inaugural speech, He thanked FVR (former PH president) for the help and also former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada; Senate President Franklin Drilon and others. he stated

“No leader, however strong can succeed at anything of nat’l importance or significance unless he has the support and cooperation of the people he is tasked to lead and sworn to serve”

One of the reasons of his success are the people of this nation that is tired of corruption, corruption, criminality, criminality, drugs. People here wants some change, a nice airport, and peace.

Duterte also needs our help, not just him will do all to change this country, even though some people don’t agree on Duterte’s ways to stop criminality but some of that ways are the only ways to stop it.

So congratulations to our new President. May the Lord help you keep this country decent not like Venezuela nor Mexico.
